I am a tattooer and illustrator working at Eye Heart Tattoo in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina. I first started tattooing in the mid-90s and have been drawing and making art for most of my life. I attended Savannah College of Art and Design and Armstrong State College where I studied illustration and printmaking. My main influences for making art come from my love of 80’s skateboard graphics, punk rock and heavy metal album art, and fantasy illustration. I enjoy incorporating illustrative style into my tattoo designs. I prefer to do one-of-a-kind, custom tattoo work.

My preferred styles and subject matter to work with for tattooing are illustrative, neo-traditional, fantasy, pop art, horror, dark art, floral, and psychedelic. I also do a lot of illustration work (under the moniker “Sinister Illustration”) for bands and magazines - album covers, T-shirt designs, tour poster graphics, and article illustrations. Doing as much art as possible is a balancing act, but it’s very fulfilling. I keep a steady schedule working on current projects and I’m always looking forward to the next projects and requests.
